Welcome to 5P! I am a fun-loving teacher, with a great sense of humour, who will make sure you are all safe, valued and work hard during your time in year 5. My family is very important to me and it is made up of my wife Amy and my two beautiful daughters. When I am not teaching you, I love to play and watch sport. I go and watch Manchester City every week, whilst trying to find time to play football and golf.
Hello, my name is Miss Holloway and I feel so privileged to teach you this Summer Term. Our Australia topic will be our starting point as we build on the skills you have already acquired in Y5 with Miss Birch and Mrs. Norris. I have already taught some of you before when you were in year 2 so I am a familiar face— I’m here if you ever need any help or support. My family is quite busy with my partner, my teenage son three very cheeky cats and, two lively rabbits. In my free time I enjoy fitness but have recently bought a motor bike and try to get out when the weather is good to get some fresh air and explore the local area. If you see me riding about please give me a wave!
Teaching has always been my dream, and I absolutely love what I do. With 13 years of experience, the last five at Stanah, I feel part of a fantastic community. I’m also a mum to two energetic football-loving boys. Balancing my time between teaching and outdoor adventures, my goal is to inspire hope, ignite imaginations, and foster a lasting love for learning in my students.
