Hello, I am Mrs Thompson and I currently teach in Year 4. I have 20 years of teaching experience of which the last 9 have been at Stanah in KS2 – I love being part of the Stanah family and watching the children become life-long learners! I promote a welcoming classroom environment where all children are able to grow, shine and be valued; each day brings new opportunities for pupils to reach their full potential and be inspired to thrive. I am the PSHE and Mental Health lead for the school, something I am very passionate about. In my spare time, I enjoy quality family time, walking my dog and relaxing with a good movie.
Hi, my name is Miss Newton and I can’t wait to teach you next year in 5S and I am so excited to dive into our new topic of ‘Invaders’ and to become super scientists with you too! I have already taught some of you before so I am a familiar face— I’m here if you ever need any help or support. My family is quite busy with my partner Rob, three very little children, two dogs and a one-eyed ginger cat. We love getting outside and adventuring; the messier, the better!
