M Harrison (Teacher)

Hello, I am Miss Harrison and I currently teach in EYFS. I have been at Stanah for 7 years working across a number of year groups and finally settling in EYFS. This will be my 4th Year in EYFS and I have loved changing and putting my stamp on all the different areas and building my ideas.  Within school, I lead on and organise school PE and extra curriculum activities. In school my favourite subject to teach is Mathematics, I love being creative with numbers and exploring different problems with the children. I also love our quiet time and sharing a book with my class, I enjoy using different voices to explore the different characters. My favourite book to read with my class is Charlie Cook’s Favourite book by Julie Donaldson.

Hello I’m Miss Crozier.

This is my first year joining the Stanah family and I cannot wait to get to know everyone! I love seeing the children shine across the whole of Stanah! I have a particular passion for dance and PE. Outside of school I love being at my dance studio or spending time with family and friends.

 In music

We have been looking at two contrasting pieces of music. We then started to learn part of the composition on the keyboards.

Save the Penguins!

In science we were testing our predictions in our very own science experiment. We had to decide which we thought would melt the ice the quickest in order to save the penguin.

A lot of children thought placing the ice on the heat would melt it the quickest but when we tested it, the children found out the table with the salt was the most successful.

As part of our curriculum, we love learning outside. The children explored the trees within our school.

This allowed the children to build a range of adjectives to enhance our writing.
