Stanah Primary School

The Foundation Stage children have had a very exciting week as they have been finding out about food from all around the World. Each day we looked at a different country - starting on Monday with China - which also happened to be the Chinese New Year. We had lots of fun acting out what happens in a Chinese restaurant, making stretchy dragons and using them to to do a dragon dance, making and eating noodles with chopsticks and doing some chinese writing. We even had the opportunity to try eating some egg fried rice and prawn crackers that were kindly donated from the Oriental Kitchen diner in Thornton.
